1. April is Financial Literacy Month

Need tips on how to better manage your money. Tune in for the whole month of April to learn more about the importance of Financial Literacy. 

Every week for the month of April we will be giving a "Did You Know" fact from the Student Financial Management Center. Visit https://sfs.vcu.edu/financialliteracy for more information throughout the whole month of April!

2. Federal Student Loan Debt Relief Plan application

3. Federal Student Loan Debt Relief announcement

VCU is committed to keeping you updated with changes to the student loan program.

UPDATE: Student loan debt relief currently is on hold. 

Courts have issued orders blocking the Department of Education (ED) from accepting and processing applications for the one-time federal student loan debt relief program. ED has appealed the rulings seeking to overturn the orders.

2023-2024 FAFSA becomes available: Oct. 1, 2022

2023-2024 FAFSA priority deadline: Feb. 1, 2023
